Senior AI/ML Engineer

AI/ML Engineer Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid) | Duration: 6 Months Role Overview: Senior AI/ML Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML and GenAI solutions for smart building/mission-critical environments, while helping engineering teams adopt AI-driven development practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy AI/ML and GenAI solutions across cloud, edge, and on-prem environments. Develop LLM-powered applications such as AI copilots, alarm analysis, recommendations, and natural-language interfaces. Integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing products/platforms and build scalable production inference architectures. Monitor and improve model performance, accuracy, reliability, and production outcomes. Partner with Software Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions. Implement AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. Establish AI engineering best practices, governance, and standards; mentor engineers and evaluate emerging AI technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field. 7+ years software engineering experience and 5+ years hands-on ML development/deployment. Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn. Hands-on Generative AI / LLM development and integration. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and production deployment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Artech
