About This Role
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about working with toddlers and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
What You'll Do Responsibilities- Provide a loving, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Follow all NJ childcare licensing regulations, school policies, and health and safety procedures
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Communicate professionally and effectively with families and team members
- Complete daily documentation and classroom responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with administration and other teaching staff
- Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must meet all applicable NJ childcare employment requirements
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting preferred
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus
