In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient functioning of our tax department, thereby fostering the growth and success of our esteemed clientele.

Location Flexibility: Candidates are invited to work in our Washington office, hybrid or remote (with a preference to be close enough to visit an office a few times a year)

Your Role as Tax Manager: Embark on a pivotal role where your responsibilities will encompass:

• Leading tax planning initiatives and executing detailed reviews of intricate tax returns.
• Delivering a spectrum of tax and accounting services, including engagement planning and client communications.
• Playing a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding team members at the staff level, fostering growth and excellence.

Qualifications:

• CPA or EA license
• Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in tax accounting
• Proficiency in managing pass-through entities is essential
• Quickbooks and T.R. suite experience (especially if remote)

Requirements

Skills and Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent designation
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on taxation
• Proficiency in tax software and computer applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
