Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a hotel or resort environment. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service protocols. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment. Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items according to hotel standards. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or safety hazards to the maintenance team promptly. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate effectively with the front desk and housekeeping management to coordinate room readiness. Skills The Guest Room Attendant utilizes strong attention to detail daily to ensure every room meets cleanliness and presentation standards, which directly affects guest satisfaction.
