About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical partner in ensuring production continuity by optimizing equipment performance and reliability. You will leverage your technical expertise to resolve complex mechanical and electrical challenges, directly impacting your operational efficiency and safety standards. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive and reactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures by performing root cause analysis to implement permanent, high-quality solutions. Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC systems, including analog and digital I/O, to ensure seamless automation performance. Configure and calibrate AC/DC drives, VFDs, and PID control loops to maintain precise operational parameters. Interpret complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics to perform advanced system upgrades and repairs. Collaborate with maintenance leadership to manage spare parts inventory, optimize work order documentation, and maintain organized technical documentation. Provide technical guidance and safety training to production staff to foster a culture of operational excellence. Required Skills Two-year technical degree or equivalent vocational training. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including high-voltage systems and circuit analysis. Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and mechanical repair. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs and working at heights. Preferred Skills Experience utilizing CMMS or maintenance management software like Epicor. Current forklift certification. Proficiency in arc and gas welding techniques for structural repairs.
