Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized treatment strategies
• Identifying and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in conjunction with physicians or autonomously, according to your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Certification Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent for specialty areas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days)
