Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Encompass Health

Alliance Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking experienced  Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)for placement opportunities with  Encompass Health . The CNA will provide direct patient care and support the nursing team in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Minimum Experience Requirement

Candidates must have  at least one year of recent acute-care experience in one or more of the following settings:

• Acute-care hospital
• Long-term acute care hospital ( LTACH )
• Inpatient rehabilitation facility ( IRF )

Experience limited to nursing homes, assisted living, home care, or outpatient settings does not satisfy this requirement unless the candidate also has the required recent acute-care, LTACH, or IRF experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, weight, and other assigned patient information.
• Support safe transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and fall-prevention procedures.
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, room preparation, and unit organization.
• Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and facility policies.
• Maintain respectful and compassionate communication with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of assignment.
• Minimum of one year of recent acute-care, LTACH, or IRF experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification, when required by the facility.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting, repositioning, and assisting patients with mobility.
• Strong communication, teamwork, dependability, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to complete all Alliance Staffing Solutions and Encompass Health credentialing and compliance requirements before assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with rehabilitation, medically complex, post-surgical, stroke, cardiac, neurological, or orthopedic patients.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays based on facility needs.

Do you have at least one full year of recent CNA experience in an acute-care hospital, LTACH, or inpatient rehabilitation facility?

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
