Field Service Coordinator

The company is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to coordinate field service activities and ensure technicians are scheduled and equipped to successfully install, service, and perform warranty work on the company's CNC machines.Position OverviewThe Service Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for coordinating field service activities. This position will schedule and dispatch technicians, coordinate installation and service appointments, communicate with customers, and ensure technicians have the information and resources needed to complete each job efficiently. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple moving pieces, and has excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience coordinating technicians, field service, maintenance, machinery, manufacturing, HVAC, industrial equipment, or a similar technical service environment is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate technicians for machine installations, service calls, repairs, and warranty work.Coordinate technician schedules, travel, job assignments, and customer appointments.Communicate with customers regarding service appointments, scheduling, job status, and follow-up.Serve as the primary communication link between customers, field technicians, and internal teams.Review service requests and determine the appropriate technician and resources needed.Coordinate parts, equipment, tools, and other materials required for service calls and installations.Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as priorities or customer needs change.Track service calls from initial request through completion.Maintain accurate service records, work orders, technician schedules, and customer information.Follow up with technicians to ensure work is completed and documentation is submitted.Assist with warranty service coordination and ensure warranty-related work is properly documented.Communicate schedule changes, delays, or issues promptly to customers and internal management.Help identify scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve service-related issues.Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.Assist with other service department and administrative responsibilities as needed.Qualifications2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or a similar role.Experience coordinating field technicians or service personnel is strongly preferred.Manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, CNC, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or technical service experience is a plus.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and follow-through.Comfortable working with schedules, work orders, service requests, and customer information.Ability to remain calm and organized when schedules change or unexpected issues arise.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company-specific software and systems.Professional, dependable, team-oriented approach.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or technical training is a plus.What We Offer$25.00 per hourTemp to hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing companyExcellent benefits once hired directlySupportive and collaborative company cultureStable Monday - Friday scheduleOpportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization100% in office position in Northwest HoustonIf you are an organized, proactive coordinator who enjoys working with customers, technicians, and a fast-paced service team, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a successful and supportive manufacturing company.
