Veterinary Heart Care Specialist Gig Harbor, WA
A growing specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Heart Care Specialist to join its collaborative and progressive clinical team. This opportunity allows you to provide advanced cardiac care in a modern, well-equipped facility while working alongside experienced specialists and emergency clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions in animal patients
- Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostics including echocardiography and ECG
- Develop individualized treatment plans for cardiac cases
- Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary cardiology
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in cardiology
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
