Certified Sterile Processing Tech

The position requires certified personnel in sterile processing. Shifts are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include the preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. Technicians must ensure proper labeling and selection of wrapping materials. Knowledge of high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization procedures is essential. Experience with various medical equipment, including endoscopes, surgical instrumentation, and washing/sterilization equipment is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of infection control standards and practices. Collaboration with surgical teams and adherence to safety protocols is vital. This role involves organizing and assembling instrument trays for surgical procedures. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position. Additional responsibilities may include documenting sterilization processes and monitoring equipment.
