As the Operations Supervisor, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including sales, carrier procurement and operations, carrier compliance, finance and accounts payable. You'll handle a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives and ensure that everyone is consistently delivering positive results. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Handle the daily operations of the team
• Develop and expand carrier relationships with both existing and new carriers
• Train, mentor and develop a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives
• Book freight and maintain KPI metrics while ensuring your direct reports do the same

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• At a minimum, you'll need: 2 years of transportation-related experience
• It'd be great if you also have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience Solid experience in management, including prioritizing work and performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Solid conflict resolution skills Proven leadership and creative thinking skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
