About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Communications to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in communications, particularly in the areas of brand management, media relations, and content development. This role is pivotal in modernizing and elevating the organization's communication function, with a focus on enhancing visibility and effectively communicating the mission and impact to diverse audiences. The Head of Communications will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, and ensuring that the organization's values and objectives are reflected in all communications. Applicants for the Head of Communications position at the company should have at least 20 years' of experience in the field, with a strong background in public relations and a deep understanding of digital marketing tools. The role requires a leader with a creative mindset, a proactive approach to innovation, and the ability to leverage an existing network to increase the organization's influence. The ideal candidate will have a C-suite caliber experience, be a strategic visionary thinker, and have a commitment to the values of the organization. Experience in policy communications and a connection to impact investing or related fields is highly desirable. The role also demands a leader who is an exceptional collaborator, with a high degree of emotional intelligence, and a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and equity.
