In this travel Certified Surgical Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.Ascension Via Christi St. Francis anchors Kansas's largest health system from Wichita, a 421-bed teaching hospital tied to the University of Kansas School of Medicine that takes the region's hardest cases. Two designations drive most of the imaging volume: an ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center and the only American Burn Association-verified burn center for roughly 180 miles, both keeping CT, X-ray, and ultrasound in steady use. Stroke care runs through a Comprehensive Stroke Center holding the AHA's Stroke Gold Plus award, which leans hard on CT, CTA, and MRI. The heart surgery center pairs a cardiac catheterization lab with a structural heart and TAVR program and 3D cardiac CT, solid ground for cath-lab teams and cardiovascular sonographers.
