Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Location: Los Angeles, CA (100% remote)
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Supports the Los Angeles office; California-based candidates considered

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in toxic tort and/or general personal injury litigation to join a sophisticated plaintiffs-side litigation practice.

The attorney will work on complex litigation matters, with a particular focus on discovery and depositions.

Practice Areas

·         Related Complex Civil Litigation

Key Responsibilities

·         Handle personal injury and toxic tort matters from inception through resolution.

·         Manage and conduct discovery.

·         Prepare for and participate in depositions.

·         Review and analyze medical records, discovery materials, and other case evidence.

·         Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.

·         Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.

·         Assist with hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and trial-related matters.

·         Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other legal professionals.

·         Manage case deadlines and ensure matters progress efficiently.

·         Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals on complex litigation matters.

Required Qualifications

·         At least 2 years of personal injury and/or toxic tort litigation experience.

·         Experience with discovery and depositions.

·         Active California Bar license and good standing.

·         Strong academic record.

·         Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to manage litigation matters and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Strong toxic tort experience.

·         Complex plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.

·         Meaningful deposition experience.

·         Spanish fluency is a plus.

·         Experience handling medical records, expert witnesses, and damages-related evidence.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a motivated California-licensed plaintiffs-side litigator who wants to build experience in complex personal injury litigation and is particularly interested in discovery, depositions, and broader litigation responsibility.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently, communicating effectively with clients and legal professionals, and taking increasing ownership of litigation matters.
