What You'll Do:

• Perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures including heart catheterizations, ventriculography, and angiography
• Support inpatient consults, managing 3-5 cases daily
• Read Echos and EKGs for unassigned patients
• Take STEMI call and respond to emergency cardiac cases
• Collaborate with nurses and other cardiologists in the cath lab
• Support patients of all ages in a busy, high-acuity environment

What You Need:
Required:

• MD/DO with fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified in cardiology
• State license or willing to obtain in Illinois (IMLC/Compact licensure accepted)
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship experience

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced procedures such as intravascular ultrasound, Impella, atherectomy, and thrombectomy
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting

About the Assignment:
This position involves providing high-quality interventional cardiology services in a dynamic hospital setting. You will perform a range of critical procedures primarily focused on acute cardiac care, including cath lab work, inpatient consults, and emergency response for STEMI cases. The facility values a team-oriented approach and prioritizes patient safety and outcomes.
