Responsibilities:
As an F&I Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive vehicle purchase experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include helping customers choose the right protection packages, working with lenders to secure financing, and completing all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently. You’ll also be expected to utilize our exclusive Driveway financing program to offer competitive financing solutions directly through our dealership.
Key duties include:
- Presenting and explaining protection products to customers, helping them make informed decisions based on their needs.
- Using our Driveway program to offer customers streamlined financing options that align with their financial goals.
- Building relationships with external lenders as needed, but also leveraging our in-house Driveway program to offer customized financing solutions.
- Submitting deals electronically through our dealer systems (ADP, bank approval systems) for financing and deal approval.
- Ensuring all documentation is processed accurately, meeting DMV, state-specific, and lender requirements.
- Tracking outstanding deal receivables and following up with customers to ensure timely collections.
- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction.
- Providing follow-up with customers regarding additional products or services.
- Assisting the Sales Team during peak traffic times to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of dealership finance experience is required. Previous automotive sales management experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both customers and team members.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet goals while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with dealership systems and financing processes, with an emphasis on utilizing in-house programs like Driveway.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in your state of residence.
