You bring compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn.In our life-enrichment services, we support individuals with disabilities to set and achieve their personal goals. They can set goals related to:health and fitness, mental wellbeingindependent living skills like cooking or money managementvolunteering and community explorationhobbies like painting, crafts, and card gamesActivities may include art therapy, music therapy, cooking groups, YMCA classes, social events, reading groups, and community outingsThis position may be filled at the Direct Support Professional Level I, Level II, or Level III, depending on qualifications, experience, and program needs.Responsibilities:Assisting with personal care and daily living tasksSupporting therapeutic exercises such as walking or range-of-motion programsEncouraging participants during group activities or job-related tasksImplementing person-centered support plansCollaborating with program staff, site contacts, and employersDocumenting progress, medication administration, and activity outcomesLifting and transferring individuals using proper safety techniques.Level 1 Responsibilities: No driving responsibilities required Focus on direct care and implementation of person-centered support plans Complete required service documentation and daily care tasksLevel 2 Responsibilities: Provide daily transportation of persons supported using company vehicles (vans/buses) Maintain a valid driver's license and meet insurability requirements Follow all transportation safety procedures and protocolsLevel 3 Responsibilities:Provide case management support as necessaryMaintain medication administration certificationAssist and mentor DSP levels 1 and 2 in training as neededRequirements:Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systemsValid driver's license with a safe driving recordAbility to meet DHS Rule 11 and Rise MVR background check requirementsReliable attendanceStrong teamwork skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a social services settingExperience using person-centered approaches with individuals with disabilitiesDetail-oriented, efficient, and communicativeAble to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyBenefits:Medical insurance (single coverage under $90/month)Dental (under $17/month) and vision insurance401(k) with 100% vested employer matchCompany-paid Basic Life & AD&DVoluntary Life, STD, LTDFlexible Spending AccountTuition reimbursement + Rise-sponsored training (CPR, First Aid, etc.)PTO starts at 16 days in year one, plus 2 floating holidays & 48 hours ESSTEmployee Resource Groups (DEI, LGBTQ+, Neurodiversity, and more)Supportive, fun culture with real advancement opportunitiesPSLF-eligible employer, your qualified student loan balance may be forgiven after 120 covered payments.Why Rise?We are a person-centered, inclusive organization that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
