License HVAC Mechanic 40 Hours

Overview Join to apply for the License HVAC Mechanic 40 Hours role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center . Time Type: Full time. Work Shift: Night (United States of America). FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance of heating, cooling and ventilating components common to building operations. Operate, install, repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as air handlers, exhaust fans, automatic valves, pneumatic and electrical controls, refrigeration systems, space heating and cooling units. Respond to emergencies (e.g., floods, power outages) during off-shift hours as directed by the department supervisor. Participate in snow removal as required by the Maintenance Department. Complete record-keeping and written reports as part of daily routine. Required Qualifications Vocational or Technical training in HVAC required. Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Certificate 1 CFC Universal Certificate required. 3-5 years related work experience required. Excellent familiarity with Building Automation Systems. Experience with brazing, silver solder and pipe alterations. Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access). Physical Requirements Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Employee may need to stand or move around for the majority of the shift.
