Length of Assignment: 13-Week Contract (Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem Shifts Available)

Weekend Requirement: Every other Sat/Sunday; Holiday as needed

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team on a 12-week contract and contribute to our mission of excellence in patient care and service. Contract may be renewed.

EDUCATION:.

HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Other: Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California. (Must present diploma within 90 days)

OR Other: Equivalent Sutter Health Training program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

MUST HAVE NATIONAL CERT
DIPLOMA WILL NOT SUFFICE

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
CCMA-AC from California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA)
RMA-Registered Medical Assistant from American Medical Technologists (AMT)
Multiskilled Medical Certification Institutes through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

1 year of recent relevant experience.
