Room Inspector - FT - Hyatt Place Wilmington

Job Details: Location: Wilmington, DE 19801 | Position Type: Full Time | Education Level: None | Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly | Shift: Any Responsibilities Participate in morning meetings/huddles to discuss expectations of the housekeeping department and any issues pertaining to the department. Perform daily property walk to include documented inspection of guest rooms and public areas, reporting results to the Housekeeping Director. Assign work to cleaning personnel and provide thorough and accurate training on all duties to meet brand and company standards. Observe the department for policy and procedure adherence and may participate in the employee disciplinary/evaluation process with the Housekeeping Director. Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear; check and count linens and supplies. Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of any inadequacies. Act in place of the Housekeeping Director in the event of their absence. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications One year of previous housekeeping experience preferred. Previous hotel-related experience desired. Must be available to work long hours, holidays, and weekends.
