Job Details: Job Location: Corporate Office - Boca Raton, FL 33487, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Insurance, Position Summary: This senior-level management role will drive the development of a new commercial residential property insurance product line in Florida. The position requires a collaborative leader with deep expertise in product development, underwriting, and market risk modeling and analysis. Essential Functions: Develop and implement a commercial residential program aligned with the organization’s risk appetite, goals, and objectives to accelerate business growth. Create a detailed business plan that aligns to the commercial residential opportunities in the Florida market including opportunities, risk parameters, and underwriting requirements. Utilize expertise to develop commercial residential underwriting activities and processes to address all aspects of potential risk. Partner with the risk management team to develop guidelines, forms, and procedures regarding risk exposure, application requirements, and other related activities. Collaborate and coordinate with leaders across the organization to meet the goals and objectives of the program. Monitor performance, analyze data, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement of the program. Assist in setting financial targets, budget development and monitoring. Minimum 15 years underwriting, product development or related experience in the property insurance industry, with at least 10 years focused on Florida Commercial Residential policies. 5+ years' proven leadership/management experience required. CPCU certification preferred. Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Proven experience as a leader in Commercial Residential Insurance. Deep understanding of commercial residential policies, underwriting, and procedures required. In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. Commercial residential market knowledge partnered with a strategic mindset. Significant understanding of insurance software programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively. Deep understanding of business operations, procedures, and priorities with a strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization. Proficient in MSO/365 applications including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
