Join Our Team as a Bilingual Onboarding Specialist in Miami! We are hiring a bilingual onboarding specialist. Overview Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately‑owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365‑days a year, 7‑days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets. Summary The HR onboarding specialist provides onboarding and offboarding support by hiring managers and new employees during their induction or exit, ensuring a smooth transition. Accountabilities Act as a key contact for all issues related to onboarding and monitors progress, including interdepartmental communication with administration, and credentialing to ensure a smooth hiring process for new candidates Coordinate orientation Prepare new hires for first day of work Enter all new hire data into HRIS Partner with Hiring Managers, IT, and other necessary departments to prepare for new hires Send out new hire welcome packets containing required payroll forms, I‑9s, benefits information, and other basic company information Arrange for new hires to complete pre‑employment drug test and DOT physical if applicable Ensure all required onboarding paperwork is complete and filed Work closely with VP of HR and HR Manager Manage electronic new hire onboarding system Screen candidate applications, conduct phone interviews, and arrange in‑person interviews between the applicant and hiring manager Assist the hiring manager with ordering company equipment such as cell phones, pay cards and email address Provide new hires with answers to questions, work with hiring managers to ensure they receive needed support Provide and document the required safety and compliance training for the new team member to begin his/her assignment Plan and execute employee birthdays and appreciation events Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, and ability to execute tasks independently Significant attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment with large volumes of data and paperwork Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment Effective oral communication skills with good vocabulary, grammar, and passion for customer service excellence Display professionalism through sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail Requirements 1 or more years of HR experience, preferably as an HR assistant Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a dynamic environment Experience using HRIS – Paycom (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Bilingual Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability Insurance PTO Holiday Pay 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr Mr Greens Produce
