Job Description: Join a busy operating room team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in East Chicago, Indiana. This 13-week contract offers a steady schedule of 8-hour daytime shifts (07:00 – 15:30) on weekdays, along with a rotating on-call weekend. You’ll be responsible for providing specialized perioperative care, supporting surgical teams during a variety of procedures, and ensuring patient safety through critical charting in EPIC. The role demands at least two years of OR nursing experience, valid Indiana or Compact RN license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Prior C-section experience is required, and you’ll need to pass EKG and Pediatric tests. Floating responsibilities are expected, and the schedule primarily follows a 6-week rotation with one on-call weekend.
