HVAC Technician

About the Role As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. The team is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You'll Do Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety requirements. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising limited discretion. Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What You'll Need High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Valid driver’s license required. Ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards. Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
