Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care -Yonkers, NY

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for the Yonkers, NY territory covering surrounding areas. The role involves providing clinical product knowledge to healthcare providers, executing sales strategy, managing accounts, and driving appropriate product utilization while navigating the payer landscape.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, scheduled programs, and branded messaging
• Develop and manage customer relationships, address reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze sales activity effectiveness, provide market feedback, and collaborate on territory planning with District Manager
• Demonstrate commitment to company values and patient service throughout the entire sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience (Specialty Rep)
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 8 years sales experience (Senior Specialty Rep)
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sales experience preferred
• Experience in specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, rheumatology, or nephrology preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory; local residency or reasonable commuting distance required
• Knowledge of core competencies in sales planning, business acumen, communication, and relationship cultivation

Compensation: $89,880-$121,602 base (Specialty Representative); $126,540-$171,202 base (Senior Specialty Representative)
