This role works closely with veterinarians and specialists to perform advanced diagnostic, treatment, anesthesia, and monitoring procedures while ensuring compassionate patient care and excellent client communication. Responsibilities: Assist our doctors in a wide range of critical tasks Triage patients as they come into the ER with appropriate medical decision making and escalation to ER doctor as appropriate. Provide compassionate nursing care to emergency and critical care patients throughout hospitalization and recovery. Place IV catheters, collect blood samples, administer medications, and manage IV fluid therapy. Assist with emergency diagnostics, treatments, and supportive care procedures. Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency and surgical procedures. Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient condition. Safely restrain and handle patients while maintaining comfort and minimizing stress. Accurately document treatments, diagnostics, and patient observations in medical records. Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and clients regarding patient care plans. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and client education. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment and treatment areas. Qualifications: Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred. Experienced Veterinary Technicians with a minimum of two years of veterinary experience are encouraged to apply. Emergency, specialty, or critical care experience preferred. Strong technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, medication administration, and patient monitoring. Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, radiology safety, fluid therapy, and emergency patient care. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to fostering a positive team culture. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment. Fluent English speaking and reading skills required ; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
