Senior Program Manager, Product Development

Senior Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams in new product development and sustaining engineering for BD's Specimen Management Business Group. The role requires managing complex project portfolios, driving execution across R&D operations, and reporting to senior leadership in a high-visibility position based in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Create project schedules, resource plans, risk management strategies, and product requirements documentation
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development or sustaining engineering execution
- Manage project budgets, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans
- Direct daily team activities and provide leadership on complex problem resolution
- Present project updates and strategic information to senior leadership across organizational levels
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field
- Minimum 8 years professional experience with 5+ years project management leadership in regulated industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
- Strong financial acumen and budget management capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for multiple audiences
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
- Experience with risk identification, validation, and mitigation planning
