Field Technician

Job Description The Field Technician plays a crucial role in sampling, treating, and maintaining water quality to keep customers in compliance. Working primarily within a small team, this position requires a self-motivated individual who can follow directions effectively. The role involves standard daytime shifts with occasional on-call availability and relies on a combination of personal and company-provided tools and equipment. Weekly reports with supervisors, collaborating as a team, and extended on-the-job training are integral components of the role. This job is very weather dependent. Responsibilities Collect samples accurately and efficiently in the field Perform field treatment and troubleshooting on site Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and interaction with customers Record data and submit weekly reports on field activities Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures Operate and maintain tools and equipment as required Work collaboratively as part of a small team of technicians Preferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in field technical work Valid driver’s license MSHA Part 48 New Miner Training - 24-hour surface mine training Skills in equipment maintenance and sample collection Strong data recording and safety compliance capabilities Effective problem-solving and communication skills Good time management abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
