Phlebotomist

Job Description Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Burlington, NC. Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm. Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and serve as the face of the company. Opportunities for continuous growth are available. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least three months of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
