CFHW offers a paid, 12‑week Dental Assistant Training Program designed to help you build real skills, gain certification, and launch into a healthcare career. While this program does not lead to employment with CFHW, graduates leave job‑ready with the skills, certification, and support needed to secure a Dental Assistant role in the community. What You’ll Learn: Understand tooth anatomy, tooth numbers, procedures, and dental terminology. You will learn how to build a relationship with the dentist to anticipate their needs and save time. You will work with a team of 2‑3 other assistants to help each other with tasks that keep on schedule, such as help clean the rooms, sterilize instruments, load the x‑ray, do notes, and set up for the next patient. How to educate patients on oral health and post‑op care. Work as part of a fast‑paced, team‑based care environment. Compensation : Approximately $21.00 per hour during the 12‑week training period.
