Janitor

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility and complete non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSClean and supply the restrooms and breakrooms multiple times throughout the workdayClean the building including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuumingNotify management of need for repairsVacuum rugs, wash walls and remove debrisClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrorsPolish furniture and fixtures when requestedDust furniture, machines and equipmentRemove and empty trashReplenish cleaning and maintenance suppliesComplete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervisionClean up spills with appropriate equipmentFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixturesOther duties as assignedMust be able to stand for an 8 hour shiftMust be able to work scheduled shiftMonday-Friday, 5am-1:30pmMust have high attention to detailWillingness to be reliable to your teamEagerness to put forth your best effort each dayWORKING CONDITIONSThis job is inside a production facility focusing on industrial laundry that includes heavy equipment, steam tunnels, washers, dryers, etc. There will be long periods of standing, bending, walking, and reaching. Working conditions include hot and cold weather. The production facility is not climate controlled – temperatures can range significantly and can have a significant ‘real feel’ far hotter or cooler than outdoor temperatures. There will be exposure to moisture due to equipment. There is air circulation due to fans and breaks are provided throughout the work day. #J-18808-Ljbffr
