Low Voltage Superintendent - Houston

Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. We are currently hiring a Low Voltage Superintendent for local and traveling roles. This position is based out of our Houston, TX with opportunities for travel nationwide. Requirements 5+ years of experience installing and terminating optical fiber cable, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E and coax cable in commercial and/or industrial environments Ability to install, terminate, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV systems in commercial and industrial environments Knowledge of NEC and ANSI/TIA standards Experience programming and commissioning new systems, as well as performing customer training Must be able to read blueprints, specifications, and contract documents Certifications with any of the following manufacturers preferred but not required.
