We partner with experts across the industry, guided by empathy and insight, to advance health for everyone.The impact you’ll make in this roleAs a Production Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.This role works the 3rd shift and includes starting pay of $27.21/hour + $1.50 shift differential:Pay Increase after 6 months to $27.87/hourPay Increase after 12 months to $28.55/hourResponsibilities include but not limited to:Assisting the supervisor in leading hourly production teams with a strong focus on safety and Lean Manufacturing principles.Helping manage daily production goals and support improvements in yield, cycle time, productivity, and cost reduction initiatives.Contributing to the growth and development of production personnel while fostering a collaborative, self-directed work environment.Maintaining GMP standards, strict documentation, material accountability, and operating within a cleanroom environment.Providing troubleshooting support for processes and machinery and adapting to varying shift schedules to meet business needs.Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)Five (5) years’ manufacturing experienceTwo (2) years’ performing in a lead role in a manufacturing environment“Nice to Have” Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higherUnderstanding of Lean Six Sigma principlesStrong interpersonal skills with experience working in teams and coaching othersSolid mechanical troubleshooting abilityProficient in data collection and analysis for informed decision-makingProficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, MES, Workday)Highly organized, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime as needed.Willingness to pursue necessary education and training requirements to keep current with the technological requirements of the assignmentWork Location: Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202Travel: Not required for this positionRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedLegal & ComplianceMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.Manufacturing Operations:This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life.
