Therapist Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

Provide supportive physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed therapists, helping patients regain mobility and improve functional outcomes through individualized care plans. This role involves working closely with patients to facilitate recovery and ensure adherence to therapy protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
  
  
• 
  Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for therapy sessions.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or adverse reactions during sessions.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on prescribed exercises and activities to promote ongoing recovery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, patient responses, and clinical observations.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety standards and facility policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification required.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience assisting in a therapy setting preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and clinical protocols accurately.

  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety procedures within a therapy environment.
