As a Security Officer Access Oversight in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control, monitor site activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help maintain an organized environment, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to warehouses, loading areas, and other restricted locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related events in logs and reports, following site-specific guidelines and established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the perimeter, access points, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
