Job Title: Utility Position (Blended Role)
Location: Western Reserve Local Schools
Work Hours: 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; afternoon start time with an occassional early flex option.
Immediate Supervisor: Assistant Superintendent

Position Overview:

Western Reserve Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to serve in a Utility Position. This is a unique, blended role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their daily work and is committed to serving students in a dynamic school environment.

The Utility Position provides support in four key areas across the district:

• Custodial Services
• Food Service
• Educational Aide Support
• Bus Driving

Daily and weekly assignments will vary based on district needs.

Classification and Compensation:

• This is a blended classification , combining duties from the food service, custodial, educational aide, and bus driver roles.
• Compensation is calculated as a blended hourly rate , based on the average of the rates for each classification.

Training and Certification Requirements:

Western Reserve Board of Education will provide training in all areas relevant to this position for bus driver certification and as it relates to food service, custodial, and aide positions.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff and students
• Flexibility and willingness to serve in multiple capacities
• Commitment to ongoing training and certification
