Ascension St. Vincent is actively seeking a board certified Cardiac Surgeon to join our team in the Indianapolis, Indiana location. Responsibilities include all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, with an emphasis on cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. Highlights: Join our team of 6 established surgeons, 3 of which participate in heart transplant surgery. On‑call schedules are rotated evenly amongst the group. 1:4 for transplant call. 1:6 for primary surgical call. We have an active cardiac surgery research program including research trials for DCD donors utilizing the TransMedics OCS system as well as the Evaheart clinical trial.
