Actuarial Developer

Job Description An insurance company is looking for an Actuarial Developer to join the modeling orchestration team. This team supports the multi-year Actuarial Transformation project which is helping to modernize and automate data processes to create more efficient data modeling projections and user friendly platforms for the actuaries. This person must have an understanding of the overall SDLC, moving the data into the platforms to then be used in reports and projections. Core technology experience needed is experience with Databricks, Python / Pyspark experience, and strong modeling experience preferably with GGY-AXIS. Understanding of the actuary space, the processes, and their platforms is preferred. This is a contract with intention to extend depending on performance. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
