Job Description *Contract Only *2nd shift : MON-FRI (2pm-12am)
Fastener Inspection
* Read, understand and practice Customer Standards & specifications
* Read, understand and practice Industry Standards & Specifications
* Read, understand and practice internal procedures & work instructions
* Use various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, ultrasonic thickness tester
* Review and inspect incoming, in-process and outgoing material
* Work with production to review and verify products conformance to specified requirements
* Handle non-conforming material including the identification and disposition as required
* Handle the review of incoming material test reports to ensure compliance
* Have knowledge of AS9100D/AS9120B/ISO 9001-15 standards
* Assist in conducting internal audits
* Perform other duties as assigned to meet facility goals
Skills/Knowledge:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 5 years experience in quality inspection
* Basic Computer Skills
* Excellent Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with sheet and plate material
* Experience with Titanium, Aluminum and steel
*Fastener industry
* Experience in Aerospace Industry Ideal Candidate Profile Quality Inspector with 5+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or fastener manufacturing, with knowledge of AS9100D, AS9120B, and ISO 9001 standards. Must have experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and ultrasonic thickness testers), inspecting materials, reviewing test reports, handling nonconforming products, and basic computer skills. Must be available for onsite 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2 PM-12 AM).
