Job Description\n Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Chicago, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: 4 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n \n The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and gives radiopharmaceuticals to patients when indicated and uses high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the patient’s body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in collaboration with physicians to provide the images for interpretation to study and diagnose a medical condition. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist gives doses of radiation to patients internally to treat various medical conditions when prescribed by a physician.
