Our organization is seeking a qualified, board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist interested in an inpatient-only role! The cardiology hospitalist will deliver in-house coverage for the cardiology unit.

Become part of a well-established team comprising 8 physicians and 7 physician assistants. Situated in State College, PA, our medical center is a 260-bed acute care facility, with a new, cutting-edge bed tower set to open in the fall of 2026, ensuring all medical and surgical rooms will be fully private. Position Overview:

• Full-Time or Part-Time - Inpatient Only!

• Team includes 3 General Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 6 Cardiology Physician Assistants.

• Flexible call schedule based on candidate availability, with a minimum of 1 week of 7-day coverage per month (weekday coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM).

• Device Clinic for Pacemaker and Cardiac Implant Patients.

• 1 Catheterization Lab.

• 1 Vascular/Electrophysiology Lab.

• 1 Cardiac CT (anticipated early 2027).

• 5 Special Procedure Rooms - 2 Vascular and 3 Echo rooms on-site, plus 2 Echo rooms at outreach locations.

• Electronic Medical Records: Epic (implemented as of May).

• 1 Vascular Surgeon and 1 Vascular Physician Assistant share the cardiology practice space.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Attractive base salary plus wRVU production incentive.
