Lead.Net Software Developer Engineer In Test (Sdet)The Lead Software Test Engineer (Lead.Net SDET) is responsible for developing automated testing strategies and implementing them in industry standard testing frameworks. The Lead Software Test Engineer primarily provides continued automated testing oversight for their team’s projects, and collaborates with several stakeholders to ensure proper monitoring is in place for their team’s deployed systems.Must have skills: C#.NET and AutomationEnsure consistent quality crossed teams within Release Train.Lead testing activities in all project phases from specification to release for critical safety applications.Supervise the planning, estimation, and prioritization of the release backlog in close cooperation with the product owner and project manager.Experience with web/mobile development.Implement and supervise the use of best practices and innovative techniques, striving for high-quality and efficient testing deliverables.Champion automated testing and test coverage to support quality CI/CD deployments.Report progress to project management team, raise and handle concerns regarding timeline, milestones, and quality issues.Support the team in planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective activities.Lead system and software integration and commissioning (SW Unit / Module testing, SW Integration, SW/HW integration).Contribute to formal reviews of software requirements.Contribute actively to growing the team through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and team spirit-building activities.Ensuring compliance with the company's formal quality system.Participate in discovery & requirements gathering, and meetings with Products & Business partners.Liaison between Products, Architect and offshore development team.Partner with offshore/onshore test/development team to mentor, coach, monitor testing process and enforce best practices.Display high level of critical thinking in bringing success to the organization.Able to articulate key issues and draft action plan and communicate with management.Collaborate with onshore/offshore technical solution leads & dev leads to direct and guide development teams to execute on platform and applications roadmap deliverables.Develop high performance, scalable and secure solutions.Engages and mentors junior Software Test Engineers.Embrace and learn new technologies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.7 or more years of work experience in a senior technical role with direct hands-on skill set.BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience.You’re comfortable with the idea of communicating with teams, regardless of their locale.Software testing (or development) experience.Proficiency with test automation tools and scripts.Microservices architecture and testing restful APIs, software test tools and processes, building and testing frameworks, and consumer-facing applications and databases.Scripting and configuration tools, agile development methodologies, analysis, design, and programming.Experience working with Splunk, New Relic.Experience working with AWS, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Terraform etc.Experience working with Git.Strong C#,.Net core skills and object-oriented design experience, including extensive knowledge of related technology platforms, applied use of design patterns and REST, Docker, API Authentication, MVC technologies such as AngularJS or ReactJS.Data management (SQL and NoSQL technologies).Experience delivering software in cloud-based systems: AWS (Kubernetes, Terraform…)Ability to communicate, influence other supporting teams such as product, QA, devops, etc. to achieve the objectives.Proficiency in SQL and using relational databases.Proficiency in at least one DB management and query tool.Ability to break work into incremental chunks that deliver value.Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements.Prior experience building/maintaining a public facing API Product (API management tools,).Ability to drive all phases of development cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, rollout, and support.Must be an effective communicator.Have experience in onsite-offshore working model.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Required Skills : Contract to hire and direct hire is available - for the contract period, candidates can work remotely. They must be onsite once a week in Atlanta when working perm.
