Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team in Bensenville, Illinois. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and managing the shipment of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all shipping activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment on schedule. Verify shipment contents against orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy. Schedule and communicate with freight carriers and shipping companies to arrange pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and inventory adjustments. Inspect outgoing shipments for proper packaging and labeling to prevent damage during transit. Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and issues with carriers or customers. Comply with company policies and safety regulations related to shipping and handling. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move packages as needed. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. This position is based in our Bensenville, Illinois facility.
