Maintenance Assistant Opportunity at Avalon Village! Full-Time, On-Call Every other Weekend The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community's physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public. Skills Needed Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services. Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents. Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Requirements Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting. Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
