We are seeking a well-skilled, highly productive team player to work as a Medical Technologist in our client's laboratory department. We are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each allied healthcare professional. New Grads Welcome! Qualifications:
- Medical Technologist - MLT / MT Degree from an Accredited University
- ASCP Certification required
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control methods
- Hospital or Clinical experience, i.e. blood bank required
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and computer technology
- Use established lab protocol to perform laboratory tests and correctly log the results of those tests
- Determine specimen validity in a timely manner
- Inform clients of recollection protocols if a specimen is rejected
- Identify, diagnose and repair issues that may arise with the laboratory equipment
- Verify all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen
- Label and organize all tests appropriately to make sure that they are easily retrievable
