This role involves high-level design, project leadership, and ensuring quality engineering solutions for bridge and structural systems across Illinois.Position OverviewDesign Leadership: Lead structural design for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls using steel and various concrete systems (cast-in-place, precast, and prestressed).Project Management: Manage scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.Quality Control: Oversight of shop drawing reviews and internal quality procedures for all team deliverables.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and regulatory agencies to maintain project standards.Business Growth: Support client relationship management and identify new business opportunities.QualificationsLicensure: Licensed Structural Engineer (S.E.) in Illinois is required.Education: Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).Experience: 8+ years in bridge design, including substructures, superstructures, and load ratings.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Illinois DOT standards, AASHTO LRFD, and MicroStation.Leadership: Experience supervising engineering staff or leading technical design teams.Additional InformationWork Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
