Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Valid Washington State Special Education teaching credential (WA SPED required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students (K–4th)
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and work itinerantly
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Flexible and proactive approach to meeting individual education needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and support to students in the ACCESS Program, focusing on personalized education plans
• Manage and implement IEPs through a district-supported system—with training provided
• Participate in paid team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
• Provide indirect services, documentation, and progress tracking
• Ensure an inclusive, nurturing learning environment for all students
