CNC Machinist & Programmer

Job TitleDuties Include:- Perform machine set up and shut down.- Program parts for machining.- Operate CNC machine.- Perform routine maintenance on machine.- Interpret part prints and step files using Solidworks.- Deburr and polish parts.- Request raw materials and tooling as necessary.- Work with Development Department on new designs.- Quality check manufactured parts.- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.Requirements:- Knowledge of CNC tooling and related hardware.- Skilled in verbal communication- Ability to read part prints.- Accomplish work utilizing and abiding by ISO requirements and safety procedures.- Strong attention to detail.- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks, and Camworks programs.- Knowledge of FANUC G-code programming.- Knowledge of Haas controls.- Able to lift 50+ lbs.- Succeeds in self-management.- Strong problem-solving ability.Qualifications:- Preferred Machinist Associate's Degree- Preferred 4-5 years of experience in related field- Experience Using BobCAM software is a Plus- Experience Using Haas brand 3 Axis Mill??Ös is a PlusPhysical Requirements:- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.- Ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.- Fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools.Work Environment:- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise, dust, and machinery.
