As a Warehouse Receiver, you are responsible for new and returned product as it enters the building. Receivers verify that returned product is in saleable condition and ready for resale as well as controlling the inbound flow of product at the receiving dock. Previous warehouse receiving experience is preferred for this position. What you'll do as a Warehouse Receiver: Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders to sort and segregate product. Follow and maintain product integrity as required by Silliker quality inspection standards. Determine and document overages, shorts, damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, and other features of the delivery. Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer, and assign doors. Cover for the Receiving Clerk as needed. Additional duties or special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion. Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: At least 18 years of age. This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
