We are seeking candidates that have a professional and courteous approach with an enthusiasm to problem solve.Duties will include:Outbound collections communicationPreparing demand lettersReviewing and submitting foreclosure referralsCommunicating with internal legal department on delinquent loansHandling incoming customer service callsPayment processingData processingReporting managementUnderstanding and following Fair Debt Collections Practices ActNegotiating payment arrangementsDetermining debtor's financial ability to offer alternate payment plansSkip tracking to locate debtorsDocumenting and maintaining all incoming and outgoing collection effortsScheduling property inspection and determining property conditionsAddressing inquiries and issues of debtors in a timely and professional mannerProviding outstanding customer serviceMonitoring accounts to identify outstanding debtsManaging delinquency reporting activitiesPerform general clerical duties as neededRequirements:3 years mortgage experience is required1 year experience in collectionsBilingual in Spanish is a plusAttention to detail, efficiency in work, and being open to feedbackGood data entry skills and phone etiquette are requiredStrong written and verbal communicationLetter writing skills are needed for professional email responsesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Word, ExcelAbility to learn new systemsWe use Encompass, Servicing Director and OnBase for our loans and documents
